Chocolate Pancakes

Are you searching for a fun recipe to make with your children?    What about Chocolate Pancakes for that family brunch or a sleepover?

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose buttermilk baking mix
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup HERSHEY'S Syrup or HERSHEY'S Strawberry Syrup
2 eggs

CHOCOLATE-MAPLE BREAKFAST SYRUP or HERSHEY'S Strawberry Syrup


Directions:

Stir baking mix, milk, chocolate syrup and eggs until blended in large bowl (batter will be thin). Pour batter by scant 1/4 cupfuls onto hot griddle; cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook until lightly browned. Serve with CHOCOLATE-MAPLE BREAKFAST SYRUP or strawberry syrup. About 14 pancakes.


CHOCOLATE-MAPLE BREAKFAST SYRUP: Combine 1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Syrup or HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Syrup and 1/2 cup maple-flavored pancake syrup. Cover; refrigerate leftover syrup. 1 cup syrup.

Iced Cappuccino

Have you been thinking of a cool and delicious summer drink?  Here is a simple recipe for Iced Cappuccino compliments of Hersheys!


Ingredients

2/3 cup HERSHEY'S Syrup, chilled

2 cups cold coffee
2 cups vanilla ice cream
Ice cubes or crushed ice
Whipped topping(optional)
Ground cinnamon(optional)


Directions:

Place syrup and coffee in blender container; cover and blend on high speed. Add ice cream; cover and blend until smooth.

Serve immediately over ice; top with whipped topping and ground cinnamon, if desired. Six 6-oz. servings.


LOWER FAT ICED CAPPUCCINO: Follow above directions using reduced fat vanilla ice cream and fat free whipped topping.

Triple Double Chocolate Sundae

Bittersweet Chocolate Mousse

Do you need a quick chocolate dessert for your next Bar-B-Que, Graduation or an upcoming Family Re-Union?   You should try Martha Stewart's Bittersweet Chocolate Mousse

4 large egg yolksFinely chop chocolate; reserve. In a double boiler, whisk yolks, sugar, and salt until sugar has dissolved and mixture is warm to the touch, 2 to 3 minutes. Off heat, quickly whisk in chopped chocolate until melted and cocoa until smooth (mixture will be thick). Cool to room temperature.

1/4 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 ounces bittersweet chocolate
3/4 cup heavy cream



In a medium bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form. Whisk half of whipped cream into room-temperature chocolate mixture. Gently fold in remaining whipped cream with a rubber spatula. Divide mousse among four serving dishes. Chill at least 2 hours and up to 1 day.

Remove mousse from refrigerator 15 minutes before serving. Garnish with shaved chocolate

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwiches


Just in time for summer!   These Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwiches will be easy to make with your children, enjoy after your next picnic or for the next holiday! 

Paula Deen's "Magic Chocolate Chip Bars"

Thanks to Paula Deen this recipe for "Magic Chocolate Chip Bars".  Grab a pen and a piece of paper or just copy and paste for this chocolate recipe.

"Magic Chocolate Chip Bars"
(Makes about 4 dozen bars)

1  (16.5 ounce) roll refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
1  Cup semi-sweet chocolate morsals
1  Cup toffee bits
1  Cup butterscotch-flavored morsels
1  Cup of chopped pecans
1  (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray a 15 x 10 inch jelly-roll pan with non stick cooking spray.

With floured hands, press cookie dough evenly into the bottom of prepared pan.  Bake for 8 minutes.  Sprinkle morsals, bits, pecans and drizzle with condensed milk.  Bake for 12 - 15 minutes until lightly browned.   Cool before serving.
